samba-dirsort-vfs is a VFS module for the Samba system. It allows Samba to return directory lists in alphabetical sort order.
As of Samba 3.3.3, the code is included in the main Samba source tree, this project is no longer actively maintaining the code.
If you"re using Samba pre-3.3.3, then you should probably upgrade. If you still want to continue, see Installation for more information on getting it all going.
