QTAS is a project to provide Quake and Quake II executables suitable for tool-assisted speedruns without emulating a full operating environment.
In particular, they feature deterministic frame times, deterministic random number generation, input recording, state stops, and precise state save management.
Gameplay will be as close to the original as possible, within the input constraints.
