This is a small script that checks the health status of Riverbed Steelhead devices and verifies if certain peers are connected. It aims to be traffic-efficient so as not to strain the bandwidth-starved links that Riverbeds usually sit on.
It is most useful when employed in conjunction with Nagios, the monitoring system.
