This project is the Master thesis project of Frederik Van Broeckhoven and Lieven Van den Audenaeren in order to get their Advanced Master E-Media diploma. We are 2 students of the Group T University College in Leuven, Belgium. The project is commissioned by Sakari Games, an independent game studio situated in Antwerp, Belgium.
This project will investigate the bottleneck problems of the asset toolchain between Blender and the Unity 3D engine. We are focusing on the problem of the interpolation between keyframes when a Blender animation is exported to the .FBX format and then imported in the asset toolchain of the Unity 3D package.
