For more intuitive flying of multicopters (and other RC vehicles) I have developed code to be able to utilize the hardware found in most PC joysticks. An arduino is used to interrupt pot and switch inputs and output a ppm stream for use with any standard 2.4Ghz Tx/Rx set.
