The aim of this project is to design an efficient RFID Application Development Suite. This entails designing a file format that can be used to specify simple behaviours of RFID tags, readers and linked devices (such as the presentation of content “linked” to a tagged physical object when it is placed on a reader, which could be a picture, text, video file etc.), and to design, implement and evaluate three linked applications based on this file format. All three should be usable by a non-programmer (such as a graphic designer or a museum curator). They are:
1.An authoring tool (a program that helps you write hypertext or multimedia applications) for creating behaviours files.
2.A simulator which “plays” these files in an interactive simulated environment, independent from the actual RFID hardware and linked devices.
3.A runtime player which “plays” these files relying on the use of the actual RFID hardware and linked devices.
