The nuB (pronounced noo-bee) application will be a very simple command line program that shall run on Unix-like variants. It will provide a supplement to current help systems and manuals (the man pages for example) in that it will provide abbreviated information along with simple examples – something that is "usually" not provided by the man pages. It will target the new user.
The program should be able to be be used in the following manners:
1.A professor may use it to create an informal supplemental set of code snippets, exercises, etc.
2.A student may use it to catalog data similar to the above for later use and reference.
3.A simple help or tutorial system for simple utility programs.
The application should have the following features:
1.Virtually no learning curve for the new user
2.Easy to install and access (no dependency hell!). Hence, flat files will be the primary data store.
