foo - as in FooCamp, an annual hacker event
gen - as in genesis, "action of building up from simple or basic elements to more complex ones"
foogen is a application for managing events of various sorts. It"s currently a customised version of Drupal and is being developed to manage TransferSummit/UK.
There"s no code here yet as we"re working hard on getting the features we need for the TransferSummit, however once the summit is out of the way the necessary config files and rudimentary documentation will be placed here.
In the meantime, if you have a burning need for an event management tool just let us know through the issue tracker and we"ll see what we can do (if you have enough money or time that will make it happen
