xz - excellent compression utility
GPAC - tools for MP4 creation etc.
If you don"t have xz already, install it first, like so:
bzip2 -dc xz-XXX.tar.bz2 | sudo tar xv -C /
Install everything else like so:
xz -dc file.tar.xz | sudo tar xv -C /
Note that the license information for this project does not extend to the binaries provided. Please see the corresponding source project for the correct license.
