A DOS Batch file that works with MPlayer to make the conversion of FLV files to AVI files straightforward.
The batch file either requires an environment variable MENCODER set to point at the mencoder.exe file, or the batch file itself requires editing to point to the same file.
Once the file is configured you can simply drag and drop flv files onto the batch file and they will be automatically converted.
