I was annoyed with so many shortcuts in my desktop --- although Windows provides shortcut to invoke it conveniently, it is not easy to manage shortcuts.
I wanted to quickly locate my files/folders/web pages/applications/ and open them directly. Meanwhile, for instance, for some web sites, I hoped to open them using IE, except my default browser Firefox.
To solve the above problems, "quickrunit" project was started. It should be able to open a program, file, folder or web site directly (like Windows "Run" application); and support to manage custom commands easily.
"quickrunit" is developed by MFC + vc2005. It uses XercesC to parse the library xml file. At present, "quickrunit" can run on Windows XP platform.
