The user gives the destination (where to copy the properly named files) and the source (the ipod_control or other directory) and then presses the Get Music button.
The program reads the id3 or other tag and renames the files in a "artist - trackname.xxx" format. Should work on most everything (worked on all ~500 files I had)... that"s all I had to test, so I made it work with every variation of a tag I found.
It"s not the most elegant, but it should provide a starting point (or ideas about possible methods for reading tags on files or something) -- I didn"t know the proper way to read most of these tags, I just did what worked based on looking at the files in notepad and finding common characteristics... and a bit of time on google.
It works for me, so I"m done with it -- if others want to speed it up and use it for themselves, they are certainly free to.
