SASTRIA is an open source web-based application to annotate dinamically video content.
The effort is to realize a tool that allows users to interact with the video by constructing tags and descriptions in the collaborative way.
Users are able to annotate video programs by identifying and selecting video objects in a video sequence, and editing them by keywords and text descriptions. It"s possible also to attach other additional contents as images, web references etc.
Obviously, it"s necessary that, in this environment, manual annotations are as fast as possible, so we would make dynamic the video object annotations, tracking objects inside video content in order to follow them through shot.
