cmetricd offers an easy way to feed periodically custom metrics information into ganglia. The config files are easilly customizable and can extract multiple metrics at once from the output of one program. This simplifies for example sensors metrics extraction, where one commad can deliver many metrics at once.
cmetricd is implemented as perl module and should be started through the provided init script. The configuration files live in the directory /etc/cmetric.d/ .
