This program is a Myrimatch "clone" written from the ground up with performance in mind. It uses OpenCL for the bulk of its computation and runs on multi-core processors, AMD, and Nvidia GPUs, offering up to an order of magnitude more performance than Myrimatch. Furthermore, it can collaboratively use all resources in a machine (e.g. the CPU and zero or more GPUs) to get even faster results.
At present, Ubuntu Linux is the only system we"ve tested, but it may work in cygwin as well.
Build instructions
Subversion:
If you don"t have this installed for some reason in Ubuntu, type
sudo apt-get install subversion
OpenCL
For AMD and Intel processors, AMD GPUs: http://developer.amd.com/sdks/AMDAPPSDK/Pages/default.aspx READ THE INSTALLATION NOTES!!!!!
For Nvidia GPUs: http://developer.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-toolkit
You can install both if you want to use
