Uses PHP / SimpleXML to grab SomaFM station feeds and inserts them into a MySQL database. Includes a MySQL fulltext search facility and experimental Sphinx search support which is still in the beginning stages of development. Focus is on lightweight pages and concise, easy-to-understand code. Project is meant to be adaptable to different XML feeds, so flexibility is a priority for future releases. Entire project is PHP / MySQL / XML / CSS / AJAX / JS, and Smarty templating engine support is planned for future releases. Uses jQuery for AJAX and other visual effects.
