MXP About
MXP3 is a fully featured forum created in ActionScript 3 with a PHP/MySQL back end. Fun fact: MX Projects was something I came up with from way back when Flash MX first came out and I wanted to convert a Flash 5 forum into MX (it was my little project).
Quick Start
Download MXP-3.x.x-web.zip
Extract contents to your web server
Point your browser to the setup.php file
Do what it tells you (it"s ghetto, but it works)
Enjoy!
Updating
If you already have an install running and would like the latest engine (compiled source with latest bug fixes) you can hit the Source tab and find trunk > src > MXP3.swf or just grab it from the featured download.
Skinning
Most if not everything you"ll need to skin is in the main.css file under the css directory.
Skinning the header and footer is a matter of opening the header/footer FLA files and changing them
