A small PHP framework that calls the Dumbpig perl script by Leon Ward http://leonward.wordpress.com.
If the rule validates without error you can copy directly into your .rules file, and to your
sig-msg.map file (if you entered a category to create an entry). The form includes Dimbpig 0.9
which I modified some verbiage in only for now to help with PCRE matching. The form entries
themselves and most of the options were based on the Snort 2.8.6 manual. Dumbpig isn"t completely
up-to-date with this version so if Leon modifies it, I"ll include the newer version, or
I might take a whack at modifying it myself in future releases. Porcus was tested on Ubuntu 10.04
and Vista WAMP w/ActivePerl. It"s a fat client for Snort rule generation/validation (hence Porcus).
