The goal of this project is to visualize the mass transportation system of a given city according to their timetable. For any given timetable and route on the map, a unit’s position can be approximated at any moment.
The target client platform of this application is the Android mobile operating system, this way a user of this system can check upon the actual position of transportation units as long as the device running Android is present and has access to a datasource via WiFi or GSM data network.
